Nurse News - FAAN Camp TAG


The Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN) announces that once again Camp TAG, a one-week camp for kids with food allergies and their siblings (ages 4-12) is available at Tall Pines Day Camp in Williamstown, NJ, July 9-13. This location offers fun activities for kids including canoeing,  swimming, arts and crafts, team sports, and more. A registered nurse who specializes in food allergies, anaphylaxis, and epinephrine administration will be onsite at all times. Parents are invited to attend a “Family Fun Day” on the last day of camp. For more information visit  www.foodallergyevents.org.

FAAN also announces a new “Members Only” Hotline offering personalized support to FAAN members by Gina Clowes, Vice President of Member Relations. If you are newly diagnosed with a million questions about food allergies this may be a helpful service for you to explore! Gina is available to speak to members 1-3 p.m. on Mondays at 800-929-4040 .
